So you’ve created the perfect button with cool up over and down states. Now you want to use that button many times, but OH NO! you’re text is in the button! No Worries, Duplicate Symbol to the rescue!
If you have text in a button and you want to make new buttons that are all similar, using Duplicate Symbol will allow you to make new buttons with new text but preserve all your design goodness.
Steps to Recreate
- Right-Click on the symbol instance you would like to duplicate
- Choose “Duplicate Symbol”
- Give symbol a new name
- Click “Ok”
